Brother and Sir Knights,

Welcome to a New Year.

There will be a Fourth Degree Exemplification in Carencro, La. on Saturday February 11, 2012. Carencro is located near Lafayette. Any Third Degree member in good standing who would like to advance to the Fourth Degree should contact me.

The Fourth Degree Biennial Convention will be held in Kenner, La. on Friday April 13, Saturday April14, and Sunday April 15. A new District Master will be elected as well as other officers at the District Level. Our Assembly will have two voting delegates at the convention. Any member of our Assembly interested in attending the convention should contact me as soon as possible.

We have our Officers Installation dinner scheduled for later this year. I en- courage our members to consider attending the Installation Dinner since this is when we not only install our elected officers for the next year but awards will be presented to deserving members of our Assembly. In addition there will be a good dinner and an opportunity to socialize with our Brother Sir Knights. There will be more information about this later.

Thank you very much for your support during the past months and I look for- ward to working with you in the future.

Intercessory Prayers

Brother Knights,

We have been maintaining a Council and Assembly prayer list that is published in the Knight Time and is also on our Council/ Assembly website. I will also send out an e-mail for prayers, as soon as possible, to our Council and our Assembly when members, their family or friends are sick, in the hospital or have died. If someone is the hospital it is helpful if I have the name of the hospital and if they can receive visitors. If some one has died I will send out information regarding their passing and I will also send out information about the funeral arrangements. This will be done as soon as possible after I receive the information.
